Veterans Memorial Auditorium
Sunday, September 17 • 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. (Vets)
Monday, September 18 • 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Vets)
Tuesday, September 19 • 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Vets)

Please note: Name badges will NOT be needed for the Sunday reception so you can wait to pick up your convention registration information Monday morning if you prefer.

Hotel Arrangements

Convention attendees should contact the hotel of their choice directly for reservations. Reservations must be made by date listed to ensure the IBA rate.

Downtown Des Moines Marriott

Please note: Available rooms at your hotel of choice could sell out prior to August 25. You are encouraged to make reservations early.

Parking/Directions

Parking is available in the north lot of Veterans Auditorium for $8 per day (Cash Only).

Transportation

Sunday
Shuttle buses will run between the Marriott Hotel and West End Salvage during the reception (5:30 – 7:30 p.m.).

Monday-Tuesday
Shuttle buses will run between Veterans Auditorium and the Marriott Hotel on a continual basis starting Monday at 6:30 a.m. continuing throughout the day until the closing of the Chairman’s Reception at 6:00 p.m. Bus service will resume Tuesday morning at 7:00 a.m. and continue until 1:00 p.m.

Registration Fees

The IBA’s tiered fee structure allows you to register additional staff members at reasonable prices. Register by September 4 to receive special pricing discounts. These prices are an exceptional value for the number, variety and caliber of educational and social opportunities.

IBA Member – $375, $395
Each Additional Member – $305, $325
IBA Associate Member – $425, $445
Non-Member – $750, $770
Spouse/Guest – $100, $125

Included with your Registration
Registration fees provide admission to: Sunday evening reception, all general sessions and breakout sessions, Ag Breakfast, Monday’s Spark! luncheon in the Exhibit Hall, Monday evening’s Chairman’s Reception, admittance to the Exhibit Hall and Exhibit Hall activities. Registration fees DO NOT include special Guest Program activities.

IBBP 5K Fun Run/Walk

Tuesday
Starts at 6:00 a.m. at the corner of Court Ave and Water Street and continues along the Des Moines River Walk towards Gray’s Lake. IBA Staff will be at the start line to check in and officially start the race, there will also be staff along the route. Transportation will be provided to and from the event, with a pickup at the Downtown Marriott at 6:45 a.m.

Attire

Business dress is requested for the Sunday night reception. Business and business casual attire is appropriate for all other convention events.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be provided for cancellations received by September 8. No refunds will be made after September 8, 2017. Substitutions are allowed any time.
